This Privacy Policy explains what information Channel Ad Valorem ("CAV", "we") collects when you use our platform, and how we use, store and protect it.
Account data: name and email when you register. Usage data: pages visited, channels viewed and preferences (such as language), for the platform's internal operation. Cookies: we use our own cookie to remember your preferred language and login session; we do not use third-party advertising tracking cookies.
CAV does not currently request or use OAuth access to your Google account or YouTube channel. We do not access your private Analytics data or any information that is not public on YouTube.
CAV uses YouTube API Services to obtain public channel data for financial valuation purposes. By using our platform, you acknowledge this use and agree to the Google Privacy Policy, which explains how Google handles the information associated with that data.
We use your account information to give you access to the platform, manage your plan and respond to support requests. We use usage data in aggregate to improve the platform, never to sell it to third parties.
We share information necessary to process payments with Polar (our payment processor and Merchant of Record), and with infrastructure providers (hosting, transactional email) strictly to operate the service. We do not sell your information to third parties for advertising purposes.
We apply reasonable technical measures (encryption in transit, hashed passwords, restricted access) to protect your information. No system is 100% foolproof, but we actively work to keep it secure.
We keep your account information for as long as you maintain an active CAV account. If you request the closure of your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
You may request at any time: access to the information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account and associated data. Write to us at legal@channeladvalorem.com to exercise any of these rights.
CAV is not directed at minors and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this same page along with the updated date.
