By accessing or using Channel Ad Valorem ("CAV", "we", "our"), you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
CAV is a financial valuation platform for YouTube channels. We calculate estimates (EBITDA, SDE and related metrics) from public YouTube API data and, in some cases, manual research of figures publicly disclosed by the channel or by a reliable source. Each figure is marked as "Estimated" (calculated from public data and market benchmarks) or "Real" (a figure actually disclosed, found and cited by our team), with an associated confidence level (Solid, Indicative or Reference). These labels reflect the origin of the data, not a financial audit.
To access non-public features you need to create an account with your email. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. CAV does not currently require or request OAuth access to your Google account or YouTube channel.
CAV's paid plans are processed through Polar (polar.sh), which acts as our Merchant of Record — meaning Polar is the legal seller of the subscription to you, and handles billing and applicable taxes. Cancellations and refunds are processed per Polar's criteria and timelines, shown at the time of purchase. You can cancel your subscription at any time; access remains active until the end of the already-paid period.
CAV uses YouTube API Services to obtain public channel data (subscribers, views, video metadata). By using CAV, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, as applicable to the use of that data within our platform.
The software, design, valuation methodology and CAV Documents are the property of Channel Ad Valorem. Public YouTube data (channel names, thumbnails, statistics) belongs to their respective owners and to YouTube/Google; CAV only processes and displays it.
Every CAV valuation is an estimate based on public data, our own research and market benchmarks. It does not constitute financial, investment, accounting or legal advice, and should not be the sole basis for a purchase, sale or investment decision.
CAV is provided "as is", without guarantees of absolute accuracy of the figures shown. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for losses or damages arising from the use of the platform's information.
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, including misuse of the platform or of data obtained through it. You may request the closure of your account at any time by contacting us.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post any changes on this same page along with the updated date.
