CAV
Channel Ad Valorem
We value your channel by what it's really worth, not by how big it is. Clear data is on your side, whether you're just exploring or already living that decision.
Waitlist access — we'll reach out to you directly.
Channel traction (subscribers, views, uploads) is tracked automatically and recurringly, not in a single snapshot.
Revenue and costs are loaded for the channel; who provides them determines whether the figure is marked ESTIMATED or REAL (verified).
Standard financial formulas are applied, adapted to the real economics of a YouTube channel: advertising, sponsorships, memberships, merch, affiliates.
The result comes with its methodology visible and the corresponding disclaimer; it never replaces professional judgment.
Analytics platforms tell you how many views or subscribers a channel has. CAV answers the question that matters when money is on the line: how much is this channel actually worth to buy or sell?
EBITDA, SDE and EBITDA per million views — not just popularity metrics.
Every figure carries an explicit label: ESTIMATED or REAL. An estimate is never presented as a fact.
Useful for evaluating whether to buy a channel, sell your own, or understand how solid the business behind the content really is.
Composite profiles, inspired by real patterns we've seen while valuing channels — they don't correspond to any specific channel.
Massive entertainment channel, with very high production budgets per video.
Extreme popularity doesn't guarantee profitability — sometimes production costs exceed what the channel itself generates.
Educational channel with its own course platform outside YouTube.
The real business is billed elsewhere — the channel is the storefront, not the product.
Individual creator, no large team, niche educational content.
Less structure, more efficiency — a small channel can be more profitable per view than a giant one.
Illustrative testimonials by use case — CAV is still in limited access, these are not quotes from real platform users.
"Before this, valuing a channel meant comparing subscriber counts and guessing. Now I have a real number I can negotiate with."
Prospective channel buyer
"I wanted to know if my channel was really worth what I thought, without committing to anything. The data gave me clarity before making any decision."
Channel owner exploring a sale
"We work with multiples all day — having EBITDA and SDE already calculated, with their confidence level marked, saves us hours of manual work."

Here you'll find answers to the most common questions about the platform and how it works.
It's a financial valuation platform for YouTube channels. Unlike analytics tools that measure popularity (views, subscribers), CAV calculates EBITDA and SDE — the question that matters when a purchase or sale is involved.
It's a real term from law and economics that means "according to value" — used to calculate something based on its real value, not its size, weight or quantity. That's exactly what CAV does with a YouTube channel: it values it by its real EBITDA/SDE, not by how many subscribers or views it has.
No. CAV works whether you're already in the middle of a buy or sell decision, or you just want to know how much a channel is worth out of curiosity, market research, or to compare it with others. You don't need an active transaction to check a valuation.
ESTIMATED means the figure was calculated from public data (views, subscribers) and market benchmarks — our starting point for any channel. REAL means the CAV team found and verified a revenue/EBITDA figure actually disclosed by the channel or by a reliable public source (an interview, a business registry, a stated figure) — it's not an automatic verification, it's manual research cited with its source. Each figure also shows a confidence level (Solid, Indicative or Reference) based on how direct the evidence is.
No. Every CAV valuation is an estimate based on public data and market benchmarks, does not constitute financial or investment advice, and should not be the sole basis for a buy or sell decision.
From revenue (advertising, sponsorships, memberships, merch, affiliates) minus the channel's operating costs, using standard financial formulas adapted to the real economics of YouTube — the same process described in "How it works".
Yes — moving from Explorer to Pro Agent or Enterprise Partner (or between them) is a simple plan change, it doesn't require reloading your channel's information.

It's not required to track a channel — you can follow its subscriber and view growth from day 1, even before monetizing. What does require the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) is financial valuation (EBITDA/SDE), since it's calculated on real ad revenue. The YouTube Partner Program (YPP) has 2 levels: the initial level (Fan Funding, from 500 subscribers) enables Super Thanks and Memberships, but not ads; the full level (1,000 subscribers + 4,000 watch hours in 12 months, or 10 million Shorts views in 90 days) is the one that enables the ad revenue CAV estimates. Beyond the numbers, YouTube requires following its monetization policies — in particular, content must be original: reused or repetitive content isn't monetized (AI narration over someone else's text, compilations, repetitive templates).
A set of indicators (engagement rate, publishing consistency, estimated public watch hours) calculated from the channel's public data, to help you anticipate how close a channel is to the new YouTube Partner Program requirements taking effect on February 1, 2027. It's an informational estimate based on public views — not real qualified hours from YouTube Studio, nor an official YouTube confirmation of a channel's monetization status.
